TheGeorgia Foundation for Public Educationseeks to support and promote educational excellence in Georgia, including but not limited to Atlanta Area School for the Deaf, Georgia Academy for the Blind, Georgia Governor’s Honors Program, and Georgia School for the Deaf. The charter for the Foundation is established by Senate Bill 427, Act No. 448, approved May 24, 2010, codified as O.C.G.A. § 20-2-14.1.

To promote these educational programs in their endeavors to best serve the students of Georgia, the Foundation aims to raise funds for educational programs throughout the state.
